Before we got our airplanes in the air we all had a certain vision of what we are going to do with the airplane once is flying. I remember thinking, once I get my pilots license (1990) I'll be flying to Florida Keys and Islands to dive or just to hang out - since I've lived in Florida at that time it didn't seam like a far fetched plan. Needless to say it didn't worked out that way - I've moved to North Carolina and since I didn't own an airplane at that time flying wasn't the priority, as a matter of fact I've not flown for several years. All that have changed when I took a ride in an UL at the airport near my house. The flying bug was awaken - two months later I bought an Avid MK-IV and the flying adventure begun... How I think about flying has changed - most of my trips are local - under 100 miles - in fact most my trips are within 50 miles of the airport.
